Gripping, twisty and engaging. This powerful dark and layered thriller kept me engaged from beginning to end. There are a variety of complex characters that I found to love or hate. As this series continues with each book there is more depth and growth of the characters. There is so much going on underneath that I found myself trying, and probably failing, to figure out who is loyal to who and who the real traitors are. The twisting plot kept adding to the mix as the catastrophic challenges keep coming. Trying to save the town, it seems, is not so simple and may have costly consequences. Loved the writing and the cleverly and constantly evolving plot. I received this book for free and voluntarily reviewed.
I know I have said this before about this series but I can’t stress enough how great it is! And honestly it just keeps getting better!
The characters that R. D. Foster has created are so complex and detailed that you feel like you know them. The work she has created is vivid and exciting.
This book is full of action, mystery, and a little romance.
The ending has left me biting my nails and I can’t wait for Book 4 to be released!!!!
I am hoping that in the end everyone gets their HEA!

This is the 3rd installment of the Dragons of Blackmoor series, and it’s been an amazing series!!! I will read anything this author writes, hands down!! I received this as an Arc read and I am voluntarily leaving this review The character development is absolutely amazing! The story kept me on my toes, never really figuring things out until the end, which I love when an author can do that because I am pretty good at predicting the outcome of a book. So big kudos for keeping me surprised!!! Cannot
